TT Norms Pro is a sans-serif font that features classic character proportions. It is neutral in nature and comes off with a humanistic style. It makes great body text that could be used in an app or article type.

After searching through the whole Google Fonts library, I believe that I was able to find 2 good alternatives to TT Norms Pro.

Quick disclaimer, these two fonts that I will discuss below are not going to be exact replacements. Instead, they give off a similar look and share similar characteristics.

Therefore, if you are in a position to do so then I recommend purchasing the fonts from the creator if you can.

What Google Fonts are Similar to TT Norms Pro?

The best google font alternative for TT Norms Pro are:

  • Roboto
  • Rubik

Either one of these fonts would work great for your design. So let's take a second to compare.

Roboto

Roboto is a very popular sans-serif font available in the Google Font library.

It would make for a great alternative to TT Norms because it shares many of the same characteristics.

First starting with the lowercase, you will see that they are very similar. The letters in TT Norms are a little more rounded but overall they carry the same shape as Roboto.

The uppercase is where we start to see some differences. You can see differences in the "M", "Q", and "G".

Go ahead and compare below.

Rubik

Rubik is another great sans-serif font that is similar to TT Norms in some ways.

The lowercase share many of the same shapes within the letters. Although Rubik is heavier in weight, a littler version would achieve a similar look.

You will notice a small difference in the "y" and "f".

The uppercase is where you will see more differences. The "J", "G", "O", and "Q" are where the majority of the differences are.

I probably wouldn't recommend Rubik in replacement of TT Norms if the majority of your design is going to be uppercase.

Final Thoughts

Roboto is probably going to be your best bet in finding a replacement for TT Norms. Although it is not perfect, they do share many similar characteristics.
